My rates are reasonable, and you only get charged for what you need.  Be careful when you comparison shop.  Many other DJs offer only one type of package.  Does your affair really call for four DJs, lighting trusses and a stack of speakers from floor to ceiling?  Maybe....but probably not.  My set-up is compact, which means that it is easy to set up and does not overwhelm the room or your guests.  

But compact does not mean poor sounding.  I have scoured the marketplace and put together the best sounding set-up around.  Check out my references and they will agree.  Catering halls love me because I can set up quickly, don't require a great deal of space, and still provide quality sound.  The system I utilize was originally designed for a recording studio...and you know how important sound quality is there.  The speakers I use have the power amps built into them.  Not only does this provide for better sound quality, but it also allows me to play in stereo!  If you ask most DJs, they will admit that they play music in mono.  Do you play music at home, or in your car, in mono?   No!  So why should the music at your party be in mono?

Have you ever been to a party where you couldn't talk to your neighbor because the music was so loud for the entire time?   When people say this to me, I respond "You've never been to one of my parties!"  There's a time for loud music, but there's also a time for soft music.  At one of my parties, there will be a variety of music played at a variety of volumes.

My rates are reflective of the compact set-up.  I don't have to charge you to rent a truck and bring roadies in order to set up the equipment.  I pass the savings along to you!

The rate for your party depends on a lot of factors, including the length, location, day of the week, season and type of affair.  Please contact me for a price quote, but you can keep in mind that most parties start in the $300 to $400 price range, for a standard four hour affair.
